Abstract

Children is the next generations nation and the future of family, so needs to prepare to become a quality of people, healthy, have an attitude, useful to herself, family, and nation. The prevalence of mental health in childhood, mostly occurs in boys than girls, 15% children in a city, 5- 8% in a village, 20% children that comes in general practitioners have psychological disorder that mostly appear as gripe of physical, 30% children come to pediatrician's clinic has psychiatric disorders, 2,5% children school age and 4,5% teenagers has a depression. Knowledge about healthy of mental in children at TK Pertiwi 17 can results that at the know level is good and the level of understanding in can be enough results. Knowledge or cognitive is the important domain to formation of one's actions. The aim of the research is to find out the Family Background Knowledge about healthy of mental in children age pre School 3- 6 years. Type of research used is descreptive research with total samping, the location of this study was conducted TK Pertiwi 17 Panjang. The kind of the research that use is descriptive research with the interpretation of data as total sempling, the location of the research at TK Pertiwi 17 Panjang. To collect the data use questionnaire. In getting good knowledge level know 50%, and the level of understand getting enough knowledge 43,33%. The conclusion of the research is The Family Background Knowledge About Healthy of Mental at TK Pertiwi 17 Panjang on the level know is good and on the level of understanding is enough.
