Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kemandirian personal hygiene harus ditanamkan pada anak saat usia prasekolah, karena akan dapat menumbuhkan kebiasaan dalam melakukan praktik personal hygiene dan dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan. Dampak yang terjadi jika anak tidak ditanamkan kemandirian personal hygiene saat usia prasekolah anak akan berpotensi mempunyai masalah kesehatan. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orangtua dengan kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak usia prasekolah di TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey analitic dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampe menggunakan total sampling yaitu dengan mengambil semua populasi yang ada di TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani dengan jumlah 32 responden. Uji statistik menggunakan chi-square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa ibu dengan pola asuh demokratis sebanyak 20 (62.5%), pola asuh otoriter 5 (15.6%), dan pola asuh permisif 7 (21.9%). Sedangkan kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak usia prasekolah di TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani kategori mandiri sebanyak 18 anak (56.3%) dan tidak mandiri 14 anak (43.8%). Hasil analisis bivariat dengan chi-square pada hubungan pola asuh orangtua dengan kemandirian personal hygiene pada anak usia prasekolah di TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani didapat nila p-value = 0,000 Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan pola asuh orangtua dengan kemandirian personal hygiene anak usia prasekolah di TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani. Kata Kunci: Pola asuh, kemandirian, prasekolah, personal hygiene. Background: Personal hygiene independence must be instilled at age preschoolers, as they can develop habits of personal hygiene and can improve health. An impact if a child not introduced to the personal hygiene independence at preshool age will potentially have health problems. Objective: To determine the correlation between parenting style and personal hygiene independence of preschoolers at TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani. Methods: This research is a quantitative with analitic method and cross sectional approach. The sample was taken by total sampling as much as 32 respondents. On this research use chi square statistical test. Results: The result of the research shows that 20 (62.5%) of the respondents implemented a democtaric parenting style, authoritarian parenting style 7 (21.9%), and permissive parenting style 5 (15.6%). While the personal hygiene independence of preshoolers at TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani was in category independent 18 (56.3%) of the children, and not independent 14 (43.8%) of children. Bivariat analysis with chi-square test there is relationship between parenting style and personal hygiene independence of preshoolers at TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani p-value = 0,000 Conclusion: There is relationship between parenting style and personal hygiene independence of preshoolers at TKIT Bina Insan Qur’ani.
