Abstract
Increasing population mosquito Aedes sp. is one of factors that cause enhancement transmission Dengue Fever (DBD). DBD disease has a mechanism process to exposed in very fast and often become fatal. Many patients died be cause late handling . DBD are called by Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), Dengue Fever (DF), and Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). Prevention DBD diseases can be done is through control vector . Phyto insectide origanated from plants is potentially for control vector. Aim from this research is to know utilization of lime peel leather ( Citrus aurantifolia ) as phyto insecticide for Aedes sp. in spraying form. Research type is Quasi Experiment with Post Test Only With Control Group Design. Sample in this research is a Aedes sp that aged 4 - 5 days with amount 750 mosquitoes for 2 treatments (80% and 90%) and 10 repetitions. Every treatment use Aedes sp. as many as 25 mosquitos. The total death of mosquitos after 24 hours from treatment is calculated. Results is this research show that the average percentage of death mosquitos on 80% concentration that is 62% and on 90% concentration is 74.8%. Results by t-Test Sample Free obtained the value of sig 0,0001 ( α<0.05), so that there is significantly difference between lime peel leather (Citrus aurantifolia ) on 80% concentration an 90% toward percentage of Aedes sp. dead.
