Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a collection of behaviors that are practiced on the basis of awareness as a result of learning in realizing health. PHBS in educational institutions, one of which is high school, includes washing hands with soap, consuming healthy food and drinks, and not smoking. Cigarette Free Area aims to provide protection for passive smokers from the dangers of cigarette smoke and provide a clean and healthy space and environment for school residents and protect the health of school residents from the adverse effects of smoking either directly or indirectly. This study aims to determine the implementation of Cigarette Free Area in Girimulyo 1 State High School and Sentolo 1 State High School. This type of research is a descriptive survey. The research objects are all rooms outside and inside Girimulyo 1 State High School and Sentolo 1 State High School. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results of this study are the implementation of Cigarette Free Area has been going well, Cigarette Free Area policies are very supportive, sanctions have been applied such as reprimand and confiscation of goods used, there is 1 sign prohibiting smoking in the library, and there are 2 promotional media for no smoking areas in the library. school lobby and library. Adding a No Smoking Area sign, both inside and outside the room where there is no such sign, namely in the teacher and employee rooms, parking areas, courtyards, prayer rooms, canteens, and classrooms.
