Abstract

Condition means the sanitary Market Godeansubdistrict observation have be made know, less availability of his toilet, waste management is not done the separation between organic and organic waste, disposal of waste water through open channels and not available hand washing. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of facilities Market Godean subdistrict on each variable, namely the provision of clean water, toilet, drainage, waste management and hand washing facilities. The type of research that used this is the survey and observation which is descriptive, descriptive surveys are generally used to make assessment of the situation in the present, then the results are used to draw up a plan improvement. Research results showed the score on each variable namely, the provision of clean water score 240, toilet score 262, waste management score 280, drainage score 200, and hand washing place score 0. Components that have not met the requirements of the variable water supply : The quality of clean water does not meet the health requirements of the MPN Coliform parameters, do not test the quality of clean water every 6 months. Components that have not met the requirements of the bathroom and toilet variables : the number of toilets is not proportional to the number of traders, there is no hand wash provided with soap and water flow. Components that have not met the requirements of the waste management variable : not available wet and dry bins. Components that do not meet the requirements of the drainage variable : drainage is not closed with metal grating, do not carry out periodic testing of liquid waste quality every 6 months. On variable hand washing is not available in the market area. Sanitation facilities at Market Godean have known that sub variable is provision of clean water, drainage and hand washing place not yet in accordance with Minister of Health Decree number 519/MENKES/SK/VI/2008. Sanitation facilities in Godean Market did not meet the requirements with a score of 1,022.
