Abstract

Latar Belakang Wasting merupakan masalah gizi yang bersifat akut yang berkaitan dengan asupan yang kurang atau penyakit infeksi. Pijat pada bayi merupakan terapi sentuh kontak langsung dengan tubuh yang dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman pada balita. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap peningkatan nafsu makan balita wasting di Puskesmas Kalasan kabupaten Sleman tahun 2023. Metode penelitian jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, desain penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental) dengan rancangan non-randomized prestest-posstest. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalaah 22, kelompok control 11 kelompok eksperimens 11 balita yang mengalami penurunan nafsu makan. Hasil hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebagian berat badan balita 8-10 kg, Bedasarkan pemberian ASI eklusif didapatkan (72,7%), dengan Pendidikan ibu SLTA 8 (72,7%), pola asuh ibu dalam meberikan makanan bergizi 11 (100%), jumlah dari 1 keluarga terdapat 1 bayi (90,9%), penghasilan rumahg tangga <2.500.000 (54,5%), mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan 81,8%, setelah dilakukan pijat bayi dalam meningkatkan nafsu makan balita wasting didapatkan hasil dengan p value 0,000 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pijat bayi sebelum dan sesudah dengan selisih rerata 5,56 pada kelompok intervensi. Kesimpulan nafsu makan balita didapatkan dengan hasil yang baik dengan menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada balita wasting sebelum di berikan pijat bayi. Kata Kunci : pijat bayi, peningkatan nafsu makan, balita wasting Background Wasting is an acute nutritional problem related to inadequate intake or infectious diseases. Baby massage is a touch therapy in direct contact with the body which can provide a sense of security and comfort for toddlers. The aim of the research To find out the effect of baby massage on increasing the appetite of wasting toddlers at the Kalasan Health Center, Sleman district, in 2023. Method This type of research is a quantitative, quasi-experimental research design with a non-randomized pretest-posttest design. The sample used in this study was 22, the control group was 11, the experimental group was 11 toddlers who had decreased appetite. Results of this study showed that some of the toddlers' weight was 8-10 kg, based on exclusive breastfeeding (72.7%), with high school mother's education 8 (72.7%), mother's parenting style in providing nutritious food 11 (100% ), the number of 1 family there is 1 baby (90.9%), household income <2,500,000 (54.5%), getting health education 81.8%, after doing baby massage in increasing the appetite of wasting toddlers the results with a p value of 0.000 which means that there is a significant effect of baby massage before and after with a mean difference of 5.56 in the intervention group Conclusion Toddler appetite was obtained with good results by showing that there was an effect on toddler wasting before being given a baby massage Keywords: baby massage, increased appetite, toddler wasting
