Abstract
FACTORS RELATED TO THE LOW COVERAGE OF K1 PREGNANT WOMEN AT THE BETUN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, CENTRAL MALACCA DISTRICT, MALAKA REGENCY, EAST NUSA TENGGARA PROVINCE ABSTRACT Maria Oktaviana Kristianti ivoni Lawalu*, Dr.Yuni Kusmiyati, S.ST, MPH, Yuliasti Eka Purnamaningrum, S.SiT, MPH . Undergraduate Program in Applied Midwifery. Department of Midwifery Health Polytechnic Ministry Of Health Yogyakarta, Mangkuyudan Street MJ III/304 Background: Assessment of the implementation of health services for pregnant women can be done by looking at the coverage of K1. Indonesia's health profile data in 2020 which checks pregnancy at K1 visits or early visits in the 1st trimester at 0-12 weeks of gestation with a percentage of 93.3%. Meanwhile, for the Province of East Nusa Tenggara, which checked for pregnancy in the early trimester or K1, the percentage was 68.6%. This incident is very far from the national target of 95%. Objective: To determine the factors related to the low visit of pregnant women K1 at the Betun Health Center, Central Malacca District, Malacca Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Methods: This research is an observational, descriptive type using a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in March - April 2022. The study population was pregnant women at the Betun Health Center, Central Malacca District. The sample is 63 pregnant women. Data analysis using Chi square. Results: Most of the respondents in this study were of no risk age (81.6%), graduated from junior high school/high school (60.5%). Not working (71.1%) and multigravida parity (60.5%) Chi-square analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between service coverage including service distance and transportation with low visits by pregnant women K1 at Puskesams Betun, Central Malacca District with a p-value value 0.013. there is a significant relationship between family economic income and the low visitation of pregnant women K1 at Puskesams Betun, Malacca District, the middle pvalue is 0.001. there is a significant relationship between place of residence and the low visitation of pregnant women K1 at Puskesams Betun, Malacca District, middle p-value 0.004. Conclusion: There is a relationship between there is a significant relationship between service coverage, economic income and place of residence with low visits by pregnant women K1 at Puskesams Betun, Central Malacca District.
