Abstract

ABSTRACT Anemia in pregnancy is a problem because it reflects the value of the socioeconomic welfare of the community and has a very large effect on the quality of human resources. Data from Butuh Primary Health Care from the known 60 mothers who suffer from anemia of various ages. This study aims to determine the effect of Stop Anemia audiovisual media on increasing knowledge about anemia prevention in pregnant women. This research is a quasi experimental research. Pretest and posttest research design with control group design. The research sample was all 60 pregnant women who were divided into 2 groups, namely the treatment group using audiovisual media Stop anemia and the control group using leaflet media. The results of the study There was a difference in the increase in knowledge of pregnant women before and after being given education with audiovisual media "Stop Anemia" (p = 0.000). There was a difference in the increase in knowledge of pregnant women before and after being given education with leaflet media (p = 0.000). Statistical test using Mann-Whitney showed a difference in the increase in knowledge of pregnant women who were given education using audiovisual media "Stop Anemia" on knowledge of preventing anemia during pregnancy (p = 0.000). Audiovisual media "Stop Anemia" can be an effective media in providing education regarding the prevention of anemia during pregnancy as an effort to increase knowledge of pregnant women Keywords: Anemia, Ibu Hamil, Audiovisual, Leflet, Peningkatan Pengetahu
