Abstract

ABSTRACT Spinal anesthesia is used as an anesthetic in cesarean sections which are known to pose a risk of headache complications or what is known as Post Dural Puncture Headache (PDPH). Data obtained in the study of Sagian et al (2021) that 37.61% of patients experienced headaches after spinal anesthesia. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) is a non-pharmacological therapy that can reduce pain and provide relaxation.To determine the effect of SEFT therapy on PDPH post sectio caesarea with spinal anesthesia at RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal.The type of research used is quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this study consisted of 66 post sectio caesarea patients with spinal anesthesia which were divided into an intervention group and a control group, each of which amounted to 33 respondents. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. The intervention group was given SEFT therapy and the control group was given remembrance relaxation, both treatments were carried out for 10-15 minutes. Respondents were given a pretest and posttest with the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data analysis using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test.The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that there was a difference in the level of headache before and after SEFT therapy p = 0.000 (p <0.05). In the control group, there were differences in the level of headache before and after p=0.003 (p<0.05). The results of the Mann-Whitney test obtained a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a difference in the level of headache between the intervention and control groups.There is an effect of giving SEFT therapy to headache or PDPH. INTISARI Spinal anestesi digunakan sebagai pembiusan dalam bedah sesar yang diketahui dapat menimbulkan risiko komplikasi nyeri kepala atau yang disebut dengan Post Dural Puncture Headache (PDPH). Didapatkan data dalam penelitian Sagian dkk (2021) bahwa sebesar 37,61% pasien mengalami nyeri kepala setelah dilakukan spinal anestesi. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) merupakan terapi non farmakologi yang dapat mengurangi rasa nyeri dan memberikan relaksasi. Mengetahui pengaruh terapi SEFT terhadap PDPH post sectio caesarea dengan spinal anestesi di RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 66 pasien post sectio caesarea dengan spinal anestesi yang terbagi menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dimana masing-masing berjumlah 33 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan consecutive sampling. Pada kelompok intervensi diberikan terapi SEFT dan kelompok kontrol diberikan relaksasi zikir yang kedua perlakuan tersebut dilakukan selama 10-15 menit. Responden dilakukan pretest dan posttest dengan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney. Didapatkan hasil uji Wilcoxon ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri kepala sebelum dan sesudah terapi SEFT p=0,000 (p<0,05). Pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri kepala sebelum dan sesudah p=0,003 (p<0,05). Hasil uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri kepala antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol.Ada pengaruh pemberian terapi SEFT terhadap nyeri kepala atau PDPH.
