DESCRIPTION OF WOMEN’S KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ABOUT THE PERIOD OF TOOTH CHANGE IN GRADE 1 AND 2 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS Silvia Shafa’ Nur Afifah1, Dwi Suyatmi2, Rizqi Amanullah3 Dental Nursing Study Program, Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Yogyakarta Jl. Kyai Mojo, No. 56 Pingit, Yogyakarta 555243 Email : silviasna22@gmail.com ABSTRACT Background : Knowledge about children's dental health becomes a necessity for a mother for the development and growth of children's teeth. In Wonosobo district, especially Wadaslintang subdistrict, dental and oral health services are conducted in elementary school students who have received 806 (25%) examinations. while those who need to get treatment as much as 41 people, from 41 people 12% of them there are cases of persistence. Research Objectives : To discover Description of Maternal Knowledge Level of Tooth Change in Grade 1 and 2 Elementary School Students Based on Age Characteristics and Education Level. Research Method : This research method is descriptive research with survey method. The population of this study was 35 respondents (mothers). Sampling by saturated sampling and analyzed using cross-tabulation. Primary data collection is conducted using questionnaires about the period of tooth change and secondary data obtained from the principal and homeroom teacher in the form of student data. Research Results : The results showed that: the level of knowledge about the period of tooth turnover is the most on the criteria of good number 23 (65.8%). Maternal knowledge level based on educational characteristics belongs to the category of high school /vocational education (34.3%). Maternal knowledge level based on age characteristics belongs to the good category at the age of 25 – 34 years (31.4%). Conclusion : The level of knowledge of mothers about the period of tooth change based on educational characteristics belongs to the category of both at the level of high school / vocational education. The level of maternal knowledge about the period of tooth turnover based on age characteristics belongs to the category of good at the age of 25 – 34 years.
