Abstract
Background: Tooth and mouth disease is one of the diseases experienced by many Indonesians, the problem of dental and oral health among Indonesians is 57.6%. Based on a preliminary study, 71.4% of patients did not know what odontectomy was and patients felt fear when they were about to undergo an odontectomy. Patient satisfaction in health services is very important to note because it can describe the quality of service at the health service, when the patient feels satisfied, the patient will make a return visit. Objective: To know the relationship between the level of knowledge of the third molars and customer satisfaction in post odontectomy patients. Research Methods: This research is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. This research was conducted at the Dental Clinic from November to December 2020. Data was collected using a questionnaire on the level of knowledge of impacted 3rd molars and customer satisfaction in post odontectomy patients. The data obtained were analyzed using Kendall's-Tau correlation test. Results: The level of knowledge of impacted 3rd molars with moderate criteria was 60%. Customer satisfaction in post odontectomy patients with satisfied criteria was 68.6%. Patients who have a moderate level of knowledge with a satisfaction level of 73.35% satisfaction. The results of the Kendall's-Tau correlation test showed that the test results (t) were 0.509, (p) = 0.003 <0.05 Conclusion: There is a relationship between the knowledge level of impacted 3rd molar teeth with customer satisfaction in post odontectomy patients at the dental clinic.
