Abstract
Dengue disease (DBD) is a not direct contagion that caused by virus dengue that distributed by mosquito bite aedes aegypti. Mosquito control aedes aegypti especially larva aedes aegypti can be done with various method among others larvasida. One of the larvasida often used abate. Follow regency public health service data Bantul, the case DBD at Bantul regency that is 498 cases in the year 2006 with 6 was pass away, 596 cases in the year 2007 with 12 was died, and 419 cases in the year 2008 with 4 was died. This Research target is to detect use time depth influence larvasida abate towards larva death aedes aegypti at Ngestiharjo sub-district that is an endemic region. Research type that used is experiment with post test only with control group design. Larva aedes aegypti instar III/IV that got from breeding egg of aedes aegypti in research place, the egg aedes aegypti got from installing ovitrap at Ngestiharjo region that is an endemic region, while larvasida abate got from pharmacy. After get research object, continued with prepare 10 water full pails, the volume is 10 liters. Five pails with volume 10 water litres is dredged larvasida abate masing - masing 1 gram and five other pails with volume 10 water liters without dredged larvasida abate as control. Afterwards insert larva aedes aegypti 24 clocks before day to seven observations. Then done observation every 2 weeks until found larva aedes aegypti alive, so that larvasida abate declared not effective. Analytically with test Anova 1 program SPSS16.0 for windows, got result sig < 0,05 so that concluded there difference use time depth larvasida abate towards larva death aedes aegypti was significant between first two week and second two week towards third two week or on the contrary. based on the result suggested to researcher of a kind to do observation every 24 clocks once and for society can use larvasida abate (Temephos) 1% to restrain mosquito aedes aegypti because in character nontoxic.
