Abstract

STANDARIZED NUTRITION CARE PROCESS AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF BREAST CANCER PATIENT IN PANTI RAPIH YOGYAKARTA HOSPITAL Juang Buana Brilliant1, Nur Hidayat2, Nugraheni Tri Lestari3 1) Departement of Nutrition Polytechnic Ministry of Health of Yogyakarta Email : juangbuanabrilliant@gmail.com 2, 3) Lecturer of Nutrition Polytechnic Ministry of Health of Yogyakarta ABSTRACT Background : Breast cancer is the cancer with the highest prevalence in the world. In 2018 there were 2,089 million or 11.6% new cases of breast cancer in the world, and there were 627,000 or 6.6% of deaths from breast cancer (GLOBOCAN, 2018). Epidemiological research shows that the cancer can also be influenced by environmental factors that include geographical and racial conditions, related to lifestyle, and different eating patterns. Long-term manifestations of breast cancer can affect the nutritional status of patients and the quality of life of patients, so it needs standardized nutrition care to prevent further complications. Objective : To find out the process of standardized nutrition care and quality of life in breast cancer patients. Method : This type of research is observational descriptive with a case study research design. The case studied was nutrition care and quality of life in breast cancer patients at Panti Rapih Hospital. Results : Nutrition assessment results obtained anthropometric data of patients having normal nutritional status. Biochemical data obtained are low patient hemoglobin. Clinical-physical data of patients in a state of composmentis with weak body language. Vital signs indicate blood pressure, high patient pulse, respiration and normal temperature. Nutritional diagnosis includes the domain of intake, clinical, and behavioral. Interventions were established based on nutritional diagnoses. Monitoring and evaluation related to anthropometric, biochemical, physical-clinical data, and patient's food intake. The quality of life of patients is good. Conclusion : From the results of the study, the respondent have normal nutritional status. The respondent's biochemistry check prove that she has low hemoglobin. The respondent’s feel some pain in the left chest and a lump. The quality of life of patients is good. Keywords : Breast Cancer, Quality of Life. Pada tahun 2018 terdapat 2,089 juta atau sebesar 11,6% kasus baru kanker payudara di dunia, serta terdapat 627.000 atau sebesar 6,6% kematian akibat kanker payudara (GLOBOCAN, 2018). Penelitian epidemiologi menunjukkan bahwa timbulnya jenis kanker dapat juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan yang meliputi keadaan geografis dan rasial, berkaitan dengan gaya hidup, serta pola makan yang berbeda.Manifestasi jangka panjang kanker payudara ini dapat mempengaruhi status gizi pasien dan kualitas hidup pasien, sehingga perlu asuhan gizi yang terstandar untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian : Untuk mengetahui proses asuhan gizi terstandar dan kualitas hidup pada pasien kanker payudara. Metode penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Kasus yang diteliti adalah asuhan gizi dan kualitas hidup pada pasien kanker payudara di RS Panti Rapih ini merupakan penelitian. Hasil penelitian : Hasil pengkajian gizi diperoleh data antropometri pasien memiliki status gizi normal. Data biokimia yang diperoleh yaitu hemoglobin pasien rendah. Data klinis-fisik pasien dalam keadaan composmentis dengan bahasa tubuh lemah. Tanda-tanda vital menunjukkan tekanan darah, nadi pasien tinggi, respirasi dan suhu normal. Diagnosis gizi meliputi domain asupan, klinis, dan perilaku. Intervensi ditetapkan berdasarkan diagnosis gizi. Monitoring dan evaluasi berkaitan dengan data antropometri, biokimia, fisik-klinis, dan asupan makan pasien. Kualitas hidup pasien baik. Kesimpulan : Dari hasil penelitian pasien memiliki status gizi normal. Biokimia pasien yaitu hemoglobin yang rendah. Keluhan nyeri di dada kiri dan ada benjolan. Kualitas hidup pasien baik. Kata kunci : Kanker Payudara, Kualitas Hidup.
