Abstract

Work as brick maker at always use physical activities is at risk of getting Musculoskeletal Disorders and muscle pain. It is because the work related with risky work posture as well as repetitive movement. The study was aimed to analysize the work posture and Musculoskeletal Disorders complaints among brick making workers in Plandi Village. The study was a cross sectional survey. From the 63 workers populations, 38 were selected as the study sample by simple random technique. They met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and present at the time of data collection. The assessment of work posture was using REBA scoring sheet and for recording the complaint of Musculoskeletal Disorders, the Nordic Body Map was used. The result show that the risk level of work posture and MSDS complaint is moderate 73,69% , 50% consecutively. The brick making workers are advised to do muscle streching when at break in order to reduce the muscle pain.
