Abstract

Public places has potential to transmitting diseases, health problems and environmental pollution. The importance of supervision and inspection of clean public places to protect and maintain public health from the possibility of transmission of diseases and other health problems. One of the public places that has the potential as a place for disease transmission, environmental pollution or health problems, namely school. School that do not meet environmental health requirements can cause various diseases including diarrhea, urinary tract infections and helminthiasis. The occurrence of disease transmission in school is due to the lack of availability of clean water and latrines, poor management of waste and wastewater, the presence of poor and poorly maintained ventilation, and the unavailability of personal and environmental hygiene facilities in school. Based on the results of observations made at the time of the study to find out the condition of clean water in SMA Negeri 10 it was not cloudy, did not smell and the drains were smooth. The condition of the toilet is that male and female toilets are not separate, do not have urinals, lighting does not meet the requirements of 98 lux, there is no trash can, soap, tissue, mirrors and dirty / crusty bathroom floor. The condition of the trash can is 15 trash bins in unclosed and not separate schools. The material is waterproof and rust resistant. The volume of the trash can is 25 liters. This study aims to describe of sanitation and student satisfaction in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta. The research method in this study is a cross sectional survey design. The research object consists of providing facilities that provide air, toilet facilities and the provision of trash bins in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta and the subject of this research is class XII students in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta. The results and conclusions of this study are summaries of sanitation in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta stating "Healthy Worth" with a value of 600. The level of student satisfaction regarding sanitation facilities in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta "Satisfied" (44.6%).
