Abstract

Background: Based on the report of Health Profile of the regencies and cities in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (2015), the visit coverage of K1 is 72.7% of the national target that is 95%. Meanwhile, the coverage of K4 is 53.3% of 95%.Therefore, the accurate ANC examination needs to be done to optimize the physical and mental health of pregnant mothers in order that the safety of mothers and child during their pregnancy can be well maintained. Besides, the delivery and puerperium can also be anticipated. Research Objective: This research is aimed at finding out the factors affecting the behavior of mothers in the punctuality of Antenatal Care visit at the Public Health Center of Rekas, the Regency of West Manggarai, the Province of East Nusa Tenggara in 2017. Research Method: This research applies survey method accompanied with cross- sectional approach,The sample for this research is mothers with their 0 to 4- month-old babies and they have been to the Public Health Center of Rekas before to have their pregnancy examined. There are 40 mothers altogether and they are determined by using purposive-sampling technique.To analyze the data, Chi- Square test is used. Result: The variables related to the punctuality of ANC visit are knowledge level (ρ=0.005), attitude (ρ= 0.002) andsupport from husband (ρ=0.025). Conclusion:is relationship between knowledge level and support form husband in terms of punctuality in ANC visit at the Public Health Center of Reka
