Abstract

On February 26, 2016, Pure Earth was contracted by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark to support the joint efforts of Indonesia and Denmark in the Environmental Support Programme, Phase Three. The programme is focused on reconciling economic growth with sustainable development through improved environmental management and climate change mitigation and adaptation. In support of these goals, Pure Earth is providing a feasibility study and preliminary engineering designs for the clean-up of metal smelting waste in Pesarean Village within Tegal Regency of Central Java, Indonesia.
