Abstract

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN PNEUMATIC TUBE SYSTEM TERHADAP HASIL PENGUKURAN AKTIVITAS ENZIM AST (ASPARTATE AMINOTRANSFERASE) DI LABORATORIUM RUMAH SAKIT UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA Rita Mustika Sari Jurusan Teknologi Laboratorium Medik Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta Jln. Ngadinegaran MJ III No.62, Mantrijeron, Kota Yogyakarta Email : ritamustikas@gmail.com Latar Belakang : Pneumatic Tube System adalah suatu metode pengiriman sampel melalui sebuah pipa dengan kecepatan tinggi dengan tekanan atau vakum, dari suatu tempat ke tempat yang lain dengan cepat. Penggunaan pneumatic tube system dapat meningkatkan index hemolisis.Sampel hemolisis dapat mempengaruhi seluruh hasil pemeriksaan kimia klinik, salah satunya AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase).Rumah Sakit Universitas Gadjah Mada adalah salah satu Rumah Sakit di Yogyakarta yang sudah menggunakan Pneumatic Tube System. Penggunaan pneumatic tube system dapat meningkatkan kejadian sampel hemolisis di laboratorium yaitu dari 3,3% menjadi 10,9%. Sampel yang hemolisis menyebabkan aktivitas enzim AST meningkat. Tujuan : mengetahui perbedaan hasil pengukuran aktivitas enzim AST dalam darah yang dikirim melalui pneumatic tube system dengan yang diantarkan manual. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan diagram batang dan dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji wilcoxon pada aplikasi SPSS. Hasil : Berdasarkan data yang diolah menggunakan SPSS, didapat hasil P = 0,002, sehingga Ha diterima, yaitu hasil aktivitas enzim AST lebih tingga pada sampel yang dikirim menggunakan PTS daripada sampel yang dikirim secara manual. Kesimpulan : Hasil pengukuran aktivitas enzim AST lebih tinggi pada sampel yang dikirim menggunakan metode PTS daripada metode manual. The use of a pneumatic tube system can increase the hemolysis index. Hemolysis samples can affect all due to clinical chemical hazards, one of which is AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase). Gadjah Mada University Hospital is one of the hospitals in Yogyakarta that already uses the Pneumatic Tube System. The use of a pneumatic tube system can increase the incidence of hemolysis samples in the laboratory from 3.3% to 10.9%. Samples that hemolyze cause the activity of the AST enzyme to increase. Objective: to determine the difference in the results of measuring AST enzyme activity in blood flowing through a pneumatic tube system and delivered manually. Methods: The type of research used in this research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional approach. The data used is primary data. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively using a bar chart and statistically analyzed using the Wilcoxon test in the SPSS application. Results: Based on the data processed using SPSS, P = 0.002 was obtained, so that Ha was accepted, namely the result of AST enzyme activity was greater in samples sent using PTS than samples sent manually. Conclusion: The results of measuring AST enzyme activity were higher in samples sent using the PTS method than manually. Keywords : Pneumatic Tube System, Aspartate Aminotransferase
